Entrepreneurs in Developing Countries

The 24th of November two social entrepreneurs will tell their inspiring story about how rock hard entrepreneuring can help people in developing countries.

Daniel Knoop first started to work with the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organisation) in Central Africa. During his time with the FAO he saw both business opportunities and a way to help the local farmers. That’s when he founded Incentivators Congo SPRL with the intention to transform the food production in Congo. He also gave a lecture at the Veerstichting.

Maria van der Heijden is founder of Women on Wings. With Women on Wings she is creating employment for 1 million women in India, by not seeing these women as poor and miserable, but as value based consumers and potentially creative and energetic entrepreneurs. She is also speaking at TEDx Delft.
